Roadhouse 2 - Part 2
April 7th 2008 00:56
Victor Cross, the big boss of Wild Bill and the hero (or asshole to you silly fans) who organised James Dalton's murder.
Mr. Cross comes down and he is not happy with Bill. He wants Shane and his friends dead within two days, that’s quite a deadline. Shane visits his uncle in the hospital and he says Luther set him up. Shane says he closed down the Black Pelican for a few days and Nate is ok with that. He is happier to see Shane then anything, yeah right I’d be pretty annoyed knowing my nephew screwed up and is losing me a lot of money. Nate tells Shane to be ready because everyone uses guns today and not fists. He then tells him that his dad was wrong that pain doesn’t hurt. Wow you know what you could play a drinking game with this, every time you hear a reference to the first movie, give yourself a drink!
Bill and his crew around to Beau’s place by on his airboat and warn her to stay away from Shane before driving away very slowly. Instead Beau goes out on a date with Shane at some nice restaurant by the river. She says she wants a guy to make her safe and he says that’s him. Wow they haven’t known each other for two days and they’re already falling in love? Shane talks about his father and how he was always traveling and that Nate is like a father to him. Furthermore, he says that his father was murdered in his house and that no one knows who killed him.
As Shane continues to pour his heart out, Luther opens the doors to the Black Pelican and lets Wild Bill inside. Shane wants to head back to the bar but Beau tells him to go back to her place. They have a quickie and THEN he heads off to the bar which is getting trashed by the gang. Beau tags along and they find the place in ruins. One of the bouncers looks like he has been killed while the other one is still alive. He tells Shane about Luther so Shane calls him up and tells him to come down. He agrees, but Shane jumps out through the front window of his house and beat the crap out of him. Annoyed Shane wasn’t at the club, Bill and his boys decide to go kill his uncle.
Bill calls up Beau and tells her to get out of the house. It turns out that Beau and Bill are cousins! Oh what a twist! She arms herself with a shotgun and Shane joins her. The crew comes into the hospital, and Nadja beats up a nurse. Beau was in the army and figured if she kept him around her she could help. Nate hears footsteps coming to his room as Beau’s place gets shot up by handguns… not machine guns just handguns that are being fired quicker than a machine gun. Bill, annoyed he can’t find Nate, randomly kills some old guy in his room. Nate cleverly disguises himself as a cleaner and proceeds to kick everyone’s ass.
Nate heads back to his room and starts to feel chest pains, that will teach you for not listening to the doctors and lying in bed. Cross and his goons bust inside and capture Beau and Shane. Nadja walks down the hall and Nate headbutts her in the face! I love a good headbutt! Cross talks to Shane and orders them to kill Beau out the back. Bill comes in with a gun aiming at Nate. Some old guy in Nate’s room is hiding in the closet and opens the door on Bill as he walks into the room. Nate tackles him down and starts beating the crap out of him, until Marcus cuts in. Nate nails him over the head with a bedpan but Bill comes up from behind and stabs him in the back with the knife. He tells Nate that was for “calling me a backstabber” and walks out of the room. Oh sweet merciful Jesus why do you keep torturing me with these bad movies?
Back at Beau’s house Shane and Cross talk about the past, like when Shane busted Cross for drugs years ago. Cross’ goons try to rape Beau out in the back and Cross drops the bombshell that he was the guy who set up Dalton’s murder! DUH DUH DUH!!! Beau beats the crap out of the two guys in the back while Shane and Cross battle inside the house. Wow everyone knows how to fight in this movie. It’s kinda funny when Nate said everyone uses guns and not there fists. Beau and Shane win their fights but not before Cross drops another bombshell, that it was Wild Bill himself who killed his father! DUH DUH DUH!!! Shane and Beau rush to the hospital to find his uncle lying on the floor.
Shane and Beau head to the Black Pelican but the Sheriff stops them. Shane tells him to do the right thing for once in his life and the Sheriff agrees. A huge deal is doing down with some Mexicans and Bill. A car speeds into the other cars and blows up… wow this is turning into the first movie all over again. Shane comes out with Beau and the Sheriff and they start shooting at everyone. The Sheriff gets hit and the other two go inside. They go inside and now we have Shane fighting Bill and Beau fight Nadja. Bill gets a chain and uses it like brass knuckles. He beats up Shane, tries to whip him but misses. Shane bounces off a wall and punches him in the face.
Who is going to win - the drug dealer or Dalton's son? Well let's just hope it doesn't turn out like the first movie where everyone fired at the bad guy with like ten shotguns.
While the boys are slapping each other in the pub, the two girls are beating the total crap out of each other in the kitchen. I mean they are slamming each other into walls and stoves and are nailing one another with hard kicks and punches. I swear these two are going at it more violently than the other two. Nadja stabs Beau in her arm, so Beau grabs a knife and drives it into her chest! Bill and Shane continue their fight up on the second floor of the bar. Bill has Shane in a headlock and our hero starts getting flash backs. Shane makes his come back and kicks Bill off the floor. He impales himself on… the black pelican statue that he fixed up before! Oh the irony!
The DEA comes around and arrests Cross and the Mexican drug dealers. The sheriff comes around saying he is gonna sue the DEA, but it seems that the deputy told the DEA about the corruption. Shane sits with a bandaged up Beau and they have a little chat. Days later the bar is back open and the band has a fat midget with them. Beau asks if Shane is heading back up north but he hasn’t decided yet. Nate is well and running the place again, and he gave the old guy in his hospital room a job. Everyone watches on as the band plays their crappy country music while the fat midget dances like he is having a seizure
And that is how our movie finishes Bucket Heads. No words from Shane on how he avenged his father’s death. No conclusion on all the events that took place. Nothing happens besides us watching a little fat midget try and dance. Yeah I know the movie sounded bad and it was. It was bad in the same ways as the first movie was but worst. Well that’s all from me for today. Come back in a few days time to catch my Top 5 Flops and Final Thoughts. Take care!

Bucket Movies
I kinda think the review WAS longer than the script for the movie. The movie followed a basic, yet bad, pattern of boring/stupid dialog followed up by some crappy kung-fu scene. There wasn't a need for the second movie at all, just as much as there wasn't a need for the first movie either. They both had weak storylines and just sucked.
I hope you give the first a review or a watch for your website, it is the epitome of 80's bad movies. Although there were a lot back then which will all appear on this website soon.
Cheers dude!
