Paris Bombs - "Hottie & Nottie" Makes A Mere $9000 at the Box Office!

I was right Bucket Heads! I you don't remember at the end of 2007 I put up a list of movies that I felt were going to be worthy of the Bucket, one of them being Paris Hilton's new movie called "The Hottie and the Nottie". Basically, its about a guy who has a crush on this hot chick (played by Ms. Hilton) who ends up falls for her ugly friend or the 'Notte'. How did it do on its opening night?
That information came from ninemsn.com and boy when I read it did I laugh out loud. Just goes to show big celebrities aren't always a big draw for the box office. That, and the movie sounds like a piece of crap. You can all look forward to that movie landing itself a review here in the next month or so.
Despite three weeks of lavish events in Hollywood and television interviews to promote the romantic comedy, Friday's opening reeled in a mere $9000 ($A10,038), according to Box Office Mojo.
